In a world of economic globalization, computerization, and rising cultural diversity, the issue of educational ethics for youth is at the focal point of dialogue in most countries. As means of efficiently utilizing the methods of introducing ethical education into schools and improving the quality of education for the younger generation, the World Federation of UNESCO Clubs, Centres, and Associations (WFUCA), the International Bureau for Education (IBE), the European Federation of Clubs and Associations for UNESCO (EFUCA) and the Asian-Pacific Federation of Clubs and Associations for UNESCO (AFUCA) have decided to annually organize and promote the Asia-Europe Forum on Education (AEFE).
The first and second Asia-Europe Forum on Education in 2013 and 2014 was successfully held in China and the third in 2015 in Romania.
On the initiative of Kazakhstan and Romanian Federations of Clubs for UNESCO, the IV Asia-Europe Forum on Education “Sustainable Development in Our Society” will be held online on October 29-30, 2021. In the year of the 75th Anniversary of UNESCO, 40th Anniversary of the WFUCA and 20 years of activities of the EFUCA, the project will create a platform to overview important initiatives with a focus on the Agenda 2030.
The main goal of the Forum is to analyze the interconnection of environmental, social, cultural, and economic development and prosperity, as well as to exchange best practices on the integrative and inclusive role of education in promoting sustainable development in our society.
