In 2017, within the framework of the celebration of the 25th anniversary of the accession of the Republic of Kazakhstan to UNESCO and the 70th anniversary of the founding of the UNESCO Club movement, the 2nd Festival of Creative Youth of Kazakhstan “Children in the Rhythm of the World” was held.
This wide scale and unique project covered more than 2,500 participants aged 12-17, who applied for traditional nominations of the contest: vocal, instrumental and choreographic art.
A competent jury composed of leading teachers and artists of our country, regardless of the established regulations of 18 finalists, selected 24 final contestants.
From 3 to 10 October in Almaty, the final of the II Festival of the creative youth of Kazakhstan “Children in the rhythm of the World” was held. Children that arrived from different parts of our country were expecting an entertaining and rich program. As a part of master classes in selected educational areas, creative mentors prepared the finalists for the final concert, passing on their knowledge and experience. In addition, as a part of the project, children could also enjoy various trainings on leadership, stage skills and, of course, the cultural program.

All the finalists were awarded commemorative diplomas and gifts from the organizers and partners of the project, and the top 8 contestants received the coveted ticket to the European stage in Paris. On October 17 in Paris (France) the winners of the Festival “Children in the rhythm of the world” in the framework of the presentation of the Kazakhstani State Programme “Rukhani Zhangyru” performed at the grand gala concert at UNESCO headquarters.
