The Planet of ART
The International Festival under the auspices of UNESCO “The Planet of Art” is one of the key programmes of the Asian-Pacific Federation of UNESCO Clubs. During the past years, it expanded its frames several times from national to sub-regional Central Asia and regional Asia-Pacific levels. More than 35 000 young artists took part in the Festival expressing their vision of the World through children’s art.
In 2015, on the basis of this Festival, another programme was initiated for the talented youth called “Children in the Rhythm of the World” that included nominations in vocal, instrumental music and choreography. In 2018, Festivals “Children are painting the World. Asia” and “Children in the Rhythm of the World” were re-branded and united into one flagship programme – International Festival under the auspices of UNESCO “The Planet of ART”, thus allowing to cover the most gifted children and youth in different spheres of arts, annually.
The main aim of the Festival is provide support for the talented young performers, to help them embrace their creative potential, and lastly, to popularize cultural diversity at an international level though the demonstration of children’s art.
The project is organized by Kazakhstan National Federation of UNESCO Clubs in cooperation with a wide range of partners and under the umbrella of the Asian-Pacific Federation of UNESCO Clubs.
